Okay, so about June 10th (though this date is semi-flexible)I will fly into the East Coast. After possibly spending the night in NY, I will take the train to Haddon Township, New Jersey, suburb of Philadelphia because my mom nixed the idea of a rental car. Totally nixed.
Once there, either late the tenth/early the eleventh, I will proceed to hang with Wonder Twins Ruth and Jess. This hanging will ensue for one to two days, whereupon I will return to that Large Apple and take another Train to Lake Placid, possibly spending a night in that magical fricking FREEZING town.
This will be followed by fetching Vikki and dragging her to NYC, whereupon the remaining days will be spent gallivanting around with her (until she has to go home) and Sarah, who will endeavor to convince me that she is not, in fact, a JAP and point me towards that nifty Whitney exhibit. There's clothes to buy from H&M, a Whitney exhibit to see, and Cony Island to ride roller coasters on and eat cony dogs at, preferably not simultaneously.
It is my expectation that Harry Potter will be seen at least once, possibly with Ruth, possibly with Sarah/Vikki, possibly with both, just cause we are huge geeks. I wonder if Ruth/Jess have the slightest interest in joining the NYC crowd? Possibly. I am a bumpkin and so think the city is the coolest thing ever, but I'm sure you guys are so over it and would not find Mass Gallivanting all that cool.
To my east coast friends who have know about this trip for some time, I must add another bit of info. I am bringing a friend. This friend is amiable and has no fleas. She is a big nerd. You are big nerds. Mutual love will undoubtedly ensue. If this complicates earlier offers of couch space, I totally understand and can certainly locate a hotel room. If it does not, that is also awesome. I can stay with family in NYC, but would kinda prefer to get my Friend Fix, as I never ever see you guys. I won't assume you have any room available, but if you have a floor to lend, we have sleeping bags to utilize it with, so please inform me by commenting.
I'm really looking forward to seeing you people again! Or in Vikki's case, for the first time! How will I ever recognize you?
