Nov. 2nd, 2009 08:53 pmIn high school I was briefly obsessed with Devics' "Key," a song from the Buffy Season Four soundtrack that plays when Drusilla kills a girl in the Bronze so chipped!Spike can fall off the wagon. About a month ago I was driving myself mad trying to remember the band's name, and tonight it randomly came to me. The Devics have a bit of a smokey, smooth, jazzy, sulky thing going on. In case you too are of a mind to Remember the 90s, here are some of their best. If you like Murder by Death you'll like Siren Song. If you're a fan of slinky vintage female vocalists, the last two tracks are for you.
