OH MY GOD. Why won't my mac turn on?! ibook?! IBOOK?! What does this button on the bottom even DO?! Did it get too cold? I remembered to take it in last night! Is something wrong with the power cord? *weeps a frenzy of weeps* I took out the back battery thing and put it back in, thinking that usually did it for my hp, and now it just makes this sad little "kchao!" sound when I try to turn it on. Would best buy know what to do with it?

If it is making a "sad mac" sound, (if it sounds different than the normal sound) you either need an authorized apple repairer or send it back to apple.

best buy is really nice even if they can't fix your mac...is that where you bought it? if not, I'd suggest going to wherever it was purchased (if you know where that magical place is)...or a mystical land of mac-fixins.

I cry with you over problems of the computer type. :(
