I was reading psych in the school's only quiet corner. When I walked out and encountered my friends, they were listening intently to an impromptu lecture from a junior on the art of escaping handcuffs, kinds of handcuffs, and methods of outrunning the police. Apparently, you get them to cuff the arms behind and, if you are, as he was, especially limber, you put one arm through the circle of your legs while the cop is otherwise occupied and stand supported by the other leg, flamingo style, then repeat. The unknown boy assured us that, having used his techniques on four separate occasions of arrest, he knew them to be thoroughly reliable.

The cops of Columbia, being too donut-filled to give chase, have an over-reliance on their police dogs. If one carries jerky in the back pocket when attending raves and fat parties likely to get busted, this can simple be thrown down, distracting and entertaining the canines, who are too ill trained to give chase after being tempted by food due to budget shortages. Sometimes I love school- the educational opportunities I get despite it can be wondrous.

Dale is such an idiot though. He probably made all of that up; It is true you can get out of handcuffs- A) if they aren't cuffed properly or B) if you have wrists my size, because no matter how they are cuffed you can twist them around.
Dale lies about everything to get attention, just ask Sallie- she knew him at Oakland.
I sincerely doubt he has any idea what he's talking about, if it doesn't involve drums- I should know- I dated him for a week soph year. He kept bugging me until I through up my hands in exasperation and said "Fine, I'll date you if you leave me the hell alone!" Experience has taught me that this does not work. ^_^
