Mondays are always the heavy chore days, I find

--Endless goddamn dishes
--cleaned all the dishes crap from entertaining out of downstairs
--scubbed jars clean of labels
--sanitized them
--poured off baking ingredients into jars
--organized the pans cupboard a v. little
--did an audition for an australian guy first thing in the morning
--wrote to Farah about seminar times
--ate a pork 'sarnie' for lunch
--made pork, tallegio and broccolli lasagne (enough for like 4 meals)
--plated out polenta for gnocci al forno next day
--swept
--mopped
--scrubbed kitchen baseboards and the door
--cleaned room
--sorted laundry
--folded
--cleaned the airing cupboard of laundry (neck-high!), sorted that and put it away
--edited query letter with Katy
--sent it
--responded back and forth, got to top of their list if anyone drops (score!)
--packed up Katy's lunch for next day
--wrote her a note so she'd find it (and then stupidly put it on the wrong comp)
--devised a waterbottle thingie to stop cat from humping me
--called some stores to check if they had tallegio
--sorted mail, re-addressed the ones for people who don't live here anymore
--looked over next day's recipe to get a feel for it
--found a good trifle recipe to use up the old sponge in the freezer, looked over it
--talked to Katy a bit about shalka scheduling and the like
--threw out someone's rotten rocket from the big fridge
--lightly cleaned kitchen surfaces
--watched the end of 5D, Warriors of the Deep, the Awakening and the beginning of Frontios while cleaning for a writing project
