Semi-interesting ones:
--made two batches of gingerbread cookies before the dough went off
--read an interesting article on smell in design and urban areas generally: http://www.ediblegeography.com/smell-designing-sheffield/
--watched the movie “Son of Rambow” while doing chores. VERY SWEET AND WELL-CRAFTED. Catch it on iplayer.
--read up on Milk Bar Bakery (http://momofukustore.com/cookies.html) and how to duplicate some of their weird but interesting looking cookies (http://www.marthastewart.com/334023/blueberry-and-cream-cookies). They are fucking hipsterdiculous and $44 for a pie is murder, but I *still* kind of want to try the cookies? Not the compost cookie. That shit is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
--made a curry out of stuff we needed to use in the fridge, with rice--no recipe, have finally learned how to DIY bullshit a basic curry based off feeling more comfortable with Indian cuisine. Yay.
LAST NIGHT:
--wrote and sent out an email to Shalka music people to catch up with them/talk about work-flow
--went through lists on doctor who and b_e posts to find extra SFX people to speak to (none)
--down to 4 emails!
TODAY:
--answered new emails
--dealt with Shalka audition correspondence
--talked to landlady and flatmates about new washing machine being delivered tomorrow
--heard back from UCL about a decision date--late and vague with a suggestion to contact someone I’d contacted already a week ago. Useless to me.
--cleaned bedroom
--emptied cat litter
--mended broken cat toy (used super glue--will sew the head back on if he breaks it again)
--figured out ways to use the food we’ve got before it goes off and gave Katy a list of possibilities to pick from
--went through the fridges and bunged all the Mystery Items on the big one’s top shelf and asked people to claim them. If no one comes I'll throw away the gone-off stuff and label the rest house property on Friday.

--met and chatted with new flatmate’s sister
--read through the whole application thing, completed big chunks of it, put post-its where I need additional info or to be sure to include a document for most of it, and found the bits that don't apply to me
