I've downloaded all of Kid A- the problem is it's in one 50 minuite track. If I can break it up into tracks I can get Window's Media to recognize it as the full CD with all of it's components, but how do I break it up? Could I use some program to partition it? I'de really like to be able to skip around through the tracks and such. If I burn it onto CD, will it all be one track, or will it just break itself down into smaller units due to the length?

Naw, it'd just stay as a 50 minute song... I've actually got a 70-minute Eddie Izzard CD concisting of one song since I was too lazy to break it up... which is FUUUN. ^^;

As far as breaking it up, I'm really not sure if any automatic programs exist out there to do that (since they'd have to go off of when the music stopped all together to put a partition), but if you wanted to do it by hand, you could always run through the thing in something like goldwave or cooledit so that you could see when the audio died, and split it there, saving them as individual files. Who uploaded a 50 minute track is what I'd like to know. XP

i know how to do it. there are some programs that will do it for you automatically, breaking tracks at the silences inbetween them. otherwise its manually with a program like cooledit, soundforge, or others
