Remember how I was going to do food writing for the paper, then got distracted? Jenna and Louis, now section heads, specially came to me and said, you have this job, submit an application for forms sake. It would feel more like dirty nepotism if they hadn't both read my writing. I'm not being hired on the basis of friendship so much as on the basis of known skill, which sounds egocentric, but makes me feel amazing. So I have a job for fall! Yay! Baby's first regular column!
