1. Stark Trek or Star Wars? *is heinously conflicted* Nuaaaaagh! Trek has the better slash (Q/Piccard), but Wars has the lasting entertainment value/is Harrisontastic. Both were my childhood! Don’t ask me, you make my brain explode!

2. Galaxy Quest or Space Balls? Space Balls is clever, but one of Brooks’s lesser offerings. I heard he held a guy out the window of a skyscraper at a staff meeting once. Man he rocks, with his Rage. I’m going to have to go w/ Quest for the Tortured!Actor!Rickman humor.

3. Robert Jordan or Terry Brooks? I enjoy Brooks. His star wars novelizations were lame, though.

4. Harry Potter or His Dark Material? HDM, no question. I like HP cause fandom’s fun, but the writing can get pedestrian and shiitastic. HDM is richer, more meaningful. It made me cry.

5. Shadowrun or Cyberpunk? BLANK

6. Neil Gaiman or Alan Moore? What did I say about Question One?! Omg, I can’t do this. On the one hand, my heart is Gaimen’s. On the other, Alan Moore’s work is so brilliant I bought the footnotes and suffered through that horrible little movie. I love them both! No! Can’t choose!

7. Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams? On a good day, Adams is a seven. T.P. is a 9.87 any day. If you doubt that T.P. is better, you haven’t read enough of him yet. Dead serious. Adams is like his weaker cousin. He’s the diet coke of T.P.

8. Princess Bride or The Quest for the Holy Grail ? I have to go w/ kel- completely incomparable. But what do I want to watch more right now? Um, P.B. for that big swelling chase soundtrack.

9. Neon Genesis Evangelion or Serial Experiments Lain? I like both a great deal, but Lain’s ending was confusing and unsatisfying. Wait, so was Evangelion’s. Still Evangelion was cooler. Kabala-tastic and all that.

10. George RR Martin or Steven Erikson? I’m leaving it blank to frustrate Vikki

11. Slayers or Trigun? Um, I enjoy Trigun. I don’t lurve it with full, passionate newbie love, but I enjoy iy.

12. Card Captor Sakura or Sailormoon? Sakura made Saturday morning babysitting slightly entertaining.

13. Babylon 5 or Farscape? Bab irritates me. Farscape.

14. Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro) or Princess Mononoke? Spirited Away. Even with a Gaimen script and Gillian Anderson’s voice acting, I can’t watch Mononoke through. I always fall asleep.
