Semi-interesting ones:
--made two batches of gingerbread cookies before the dough went off
--read an interesting article on smell in design and urban areas generally: http://www.ediblegeography.com/smell-designing-sheffield/
--watched the movie “Son of Rambow” while doing chores. VERY SWEET AND WELL-CRAFTED. Catch it on iplayer.
--read up on Milk Bar Bakery (http://momofukustore.com/cookies.html) and how to duplicate some of their weird but interesting looking cookies (http://www.marthastewart.com/334023/blueberry-and-cream-cookies). They are fucking hipsterdiculous and $44 for a pie is murder, but I *still* kind of want to try the cookies? Not the compost cookie. That shit is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
--made a curry out of stuff we needed to use in the fridge, with rice--no recipe, have finally learned how to DIY bullshit a basic curry based off feeling more comfortable with Indian cuisine. Yay.
