Just Bead It!
Feb. 18th, 2007 03:56 amI got alley raped by SADS and began freaking out over a sucession of things of little consequence last night. I worked all day and continued to feel shitty until I watched the shitty little movie that couldn't, Lady in the Water, and the first half of Wizard People with Therese, Molly J and Sam. I rarely get to hang out with Therese and Molly, so that's excellent. Sam has this way of really cheering me up and making me feel competent through a simple conversation. I guess being the eldest of seven kids growing up a lot of my identity does come from solid relationships with younger people, so maybe he does help me to ground myself. I should hang out with him more, he's genteel, and I'm quite fond of him. Corey and That New Indie Chick from the Hunan watched with us after Corey stumbled back from Charles's party, and the two had a really lovely guitar/elecectric mandolin jam session.
I can't help slightly disliking Indie Chick for her conversational reticence and constant wearing of the same damn unattractive Native American necklace, but maybe she has some amazing reason for perpetually wearing it that overpowers it being giant and too gaudy for perpetual accesorizing. She seems nice enough, maybe she'll grow on me. Keep in mind this general nastiness is possibly the SADS comming back for another go like I was the Central Park Jogger of seasonal depression.
I hope people drop by my house more! I despise when it's empty, what good is having a big house near campus if no one visits it?
