Staaaaaabity.
In other news, the City, aka The MAN, aka that which must go up against the wall, mother, says no to Annie as a fourth tennant. Rent SO expensive. Augh!
Watched Lawrence Ollivier's King Leer out of incredible guilt. One point on which I'm not clear: Was 100 men an exorbinant retinue for the time? If it is, what of the proposed cuts, 50 and 25? I feel the final suggestions of Leer traveling without retinue are really insulting, but are Regan and Gonerail just being practical but tactless when they say they can't house this many men? What's comensurate with his dignity versus what is convenient for them to house?
Brittish productions love spittle. All over their faces, like gross porn. Edmund (Glouchester 2.0) was just gooey by the end. Also, I was unprepared for the horror of Lawrence Ollivier's bitchtits. The reknowned Shapesperian actor was just braiding a daisy chain, being all Leer and crazy, and then we panned down to his open shirt, revealing... remember when you were a sixteen year old girl? Not "I'm an old man", I've seen that before, not "I am just amply porportioned," that's different, these were orbs.
Also, Cordelia pulled herself a Last Dance with Mary Jane. Leer was crazy, obviously, and so we couldn't believe his "the feather is moving, ergo she's breathing" argument as to Cordelias' not very dead-ness But then the actress for Cordelia was clearly taking deep breaths, and it was unclear whether that whole hanging thing really worked out, or if she was kinda okay, so that she could run up for a last quicky with Edmund's Identical Twin, Skeevemund, as I'm sure Skeevemund wants to complete his collection of Leer's slutty daughters. I know she's supposed to be dead, but really, when cordelia opened her eyes underwater, I got confused. Um, where was Cordelia's husband for this battle? Didn't he want to come with his wife on this MASSIVE millitary campaign?
Watching The Company of Wolves, pr0ny Red Ridding Hood with Angela Landsburry.
Our house is so, so clean!
