So I had a 9:30 AM appointment with the travel clinic. Out in th parking lot, I got a napkin out to catch a sneeze. The napkin proved unequal to this task. An explosive sneeze dappled my outfit with blood.

I think a normal person's response might have been 'WHY AM I SUDDENLY SNEEZING BLOOD?!' But I was like 'fuck, I should get this out of my clothes quickly so that the doctor will suspect nothing and sign off on that perfectly clean bill of health for the kibbutz.' With the help of the wet wipe in the glove box, I was able to towel down and walk in smiling like the rosy picture of vitality, and not, in fact, like someone who'd just violently and inexplicably expelled blood all over her shirt and skirt.
