Fic: That Which We Call

I have committed post-LOTL 10/Simm!Master fic (implied (9 and 10/Rose) with Time Crash spoilers. It's like committing post-Doomsday Rose/10 Reunion fic, but less canon.

I haven't written fanfic in almost four years. I blame eryaforsthye for this one. I started writing a quick crack/fluff drabble and now it's a mouthy few pages and not without slight angst. Dammit. It's even a bit Five/Master because I just re-watched those episodes. *Sigh* So, says the Little Red Hen to her f-list, "Who will help me beta the fic?"

It's a total ship-fest, so I'd need someone to tell me if it's working right on the character level with that in mind, and maybe someone who doesn't suck at Britpicking the way I do? Someone who hates my natural tendency towards purple prose like you're Ezra Pound and I'm T.S. Elliot (eugh) and I've just handed you the unedited version of The Waste Land and it is mostly crap.

In exchange I will, I dunno, write you a drabble or breed you a pony or go make you a TCE or something. Provided I can learn to finally reset the VCR, the TCE will be a logical next project. I mean, three letter abbreviations? Those have to have something scientifically in common, right? (By this logic, they're also linked to th RZA and the GZA. If only I could figure out the connection!)

Isn't it odd how sometimes you write things that, while decent, are not in the vein of your personal reading taste? I dunno why I felt the need to confront my two OTPs for that show in this one, when I'm not at all resolved on those questions and normally would get squicked by their being forced into close proximity and flick the back button.

also, i feel i owe you some proper thoughts on spoiled for choice, but i also feel that i ought to go to sleep now. and that thinking would be a problem for me, so i will be back tomorrow :) ... yes, like some sort of crazed stalker, what of it?

(p.s. glad that you're so close to finishing that other chapter. ...i'll be off now. i really do need to sleep in order to keep living.)

Oh THAT. Well, it's kind of sketched out a little, but Spoiled took over and got finished and edited and this sits in the back of the Who folder waiting to be loved. One day I'll dust it off and offer it to the world, but that day is decidedly NOT today. It's still all half-finished sentences and malarky.
