x_los | Working Hard for The Money

Today I went to work, finished Miller's The Crucible and started Camus' The Stranger. Then I registered for both of my cheap, transferable Kirkwood Spanish classes, went over to Calvin Hall and registered for my summer essay class, spent time arranging for financial aid, went to the library and interviewed with the head of Special Collections, arranging to have a position there in the fall. Then I set up a private loan meeting at my bank for after work tomorrow. Then I made an appointment for an eyebrow wax tomorrow. I checked up on when HR would be open at Riverside for an interview for a waitress position. I'm going in Monday morning. I'll go into the Mill if that doesn't look great. SO BUSY! I still have to tell Bessie that I can't work Monday evenings due to the Spanish courses. It's been ridiculous. I'm taking 10 hrs of class this summer. I almost feel like saying fuck it and just taking 3 more hours at Kirkwood, just to make it a full semester, since I'm already chained to doing a truly stupid amount of work.

I think I've gotten really productive because I'm mad a boy hasn't emailed me back. I'm just angrily getting shit done to prove to myself that at least in some aspect of my life I'm capable of carrying through on something sucessfully. Bah. A part of me wishes I were annoyed at men more often, so as to be consistantly efficient. Mostly I just want to think of a good pretext for emailing him one last time. Or fastforward in time until I'm mature, sexy and smart and we teach on the same faculty and I can get him wasted at a faculty Christmas party and take advantage of him. ...yeah... Another glass of punch?

When the fuck am I supposed to fit in a trip to Danny's cottage or a road trip? Let alone get down to see my sis graduate/renew my expired driver's license? The only free time I have is two weeks after classes end and before they begin in late August. Lame.

This summer I'm marathoning Buffy with Meghan/Molly J, Rome with Christina/Alisa, and Stargate with Anna.

Is anything less funny than a Shrek sequel and its attendent previews?
