I worry that my tendency towards intense depression will cause me to negect my kids and not be a good mother to them when I have them, especially during post-pardum. That Depression Hurts comercial with the kids staring after the mother in that parallel shot while she sits on the stairs rocking her head in her hands scares the fuck out of me.

I'm watching my Barbra Streisand movie and avoiding the stupid comercial. Light those candles, Barb. Good girl.

I finally saw Day After Tomorrow. You were right... wonderfully, wonderfully terrible.

Well, i love the first half, when everything is being destroyed and I can still hope emmy rossum is going to die caught in the slowest moving surge of water to ever.
I've never seen the Depression Hurts commercial but your description freaks me out. What a way to make mothers feel even better about being depressed.
