emailed intercambio partner
searched jobnet and made notes of promising candidates
emailed food beat writer re: collaboration for DI
gotten new student ID
gotten lunch with Molly
done dishes
cleaned oven
bought stapler for house posters

I need to:

clean Jefferson Street house (tear)
put up posters
make cookies for fun
turn story in to Jenna
do cookbooks story
finish book
hang posters
move dishes
GET VCR FROM MEG!

Get a job at the parking ramps! Get paid to sit in a booth and study or surf the web (in certain ramps)! $9/hr, 20 hours a week, yadda yadda. They need people in a big way, and the easiest way to work there is to have a reference. You can use my name (Karrey Smith) if you want the job. And no, I don't get any bonuses for referring you or anything. It's just a dreamy job for students.

Call 335-8312 and tell them you are interested in the job. The shifts are first come, first serve, so you might get some shitty hours, but half the ramps close by midnight, and the other half by 3am. They'll probably tell you over the phone what kinds of shifts they have left.

They never called me back! eeeeeeehvahr! And I came in and looked pretty while applying and asked for the manager who'd said he'd wanted to see me over the phone and such! Said manager was busy a the moment, but apparently doesn't want me, not even for an interview!

What presentation do you think sounds cool? I am all torn between the Singer/E. Europe one and a more modern one so that I can write a paper on how Bajorans and Ferengis are Jewish. I wish I were joking, but she brought it up and I spent the next ten minuites going "but wait, there's more!" spastically inside my head.

Those fuckers! Of course, now the schedule is full. I'll keep an eye on the schedule to see if stuff opens up. He probably just didn't call you back because he doesn't like confrontation and he'd rather ignore you than let you down easy.

As far as the presentations, I'm liking pretty much all of them. I think I don't want to do the Holocaust one because that's what I know the most about out of all of them, and I'd rather learn than regurgitate. Also, a presentation on Ferengi would, seriously, make my entire year. Seriously. I want.
