Back in the country, preping kinda frantically for the paper meeting I have in one hour, then meeting Molly E for hangings out, then canvasing town with 'please god, rent my place' flyers, then cleaning Jefferson St. house.

I swear, saw little bugs crawling over toothbrushed in bathroom. Ewwwwwwww. Looks like it needs seriously cleaned before I can show it. I'm kind of angry cause a LOT of my stuff is quite damaged, it's not even a mess I made, and Annie is being, in my opinion, really unnecessarily nasty about me needing to be in there to clean for a day before I can show the property, in her own sad Milquetoast way.

ALSO the basement's flooded a little, so that needs cleaned, Kevin needs called, etc. The continuing rain helps not. And I have to remove all my property to the (flooded) basement for storage that a subleaser doesn't want to take in the furnishing agreement so I can move it rapidly as soon as I get an opportunity. Don't know whether to sell non-special posessions or store and ship. This property is a millstone around my otherwise elegantly inclined neck. Bah.

I'm going to have to be here dealing with this longer than I thought I would due to their actions (or rather lack there of b/c has anyone scrubbed that br since April?) and I had plans, dammit.

Corey has been awesome. That move went smooth like buttah, taking only the better part of an hour to fully move everything. Still need matresspad, futon-sized sheets and toothbrush that has NEVER entered Jefferson St. house.

Cor had three people over for jam session last night, which didn't at all annoy me and was in fact rather nice and interesting, and I finished half of a fucking lame book I need to read for Jewish American Lit. W007, Breadgivers.

Frannie and beau seem happy and well. Jenna and Peter have a rather cosily set up appartment. Peter sucked less than usual last night and was fun and discrete and nice. Wierd. Molly E has surgery?! wtf? But I find out the details soon. Molly J and Alyssa O regresan en Sabado, and I can see them then.  We have to do a workshop to prep for Undergrad Fiction, helping eachother edit so we all get in. Mmmhmm.

last time i was there the bathroom was actually about as clean as we had it. the living room was just as dirty but in different ways-substitute dishes for ben's Magic and books. the library is a lost cause but that's mainly cause Kevin had to move everything out into there( which is what i assume you mean by the damaged stuff. which is really not their fault.
Kevin also knows about the basement i believe- there's something about the pipes??? he had a plumber there when i went over.

ps- if your going to sell it- i'll buy your awesome big bookshelf.

the silver one? I'mdown w/ selling it to you as long as you take care then, of its transport and storage. And I'll believe what you say about the house being clean for you, company, but right now? Not totally awesome.

Damn, I was hoping to rid myself of the TERRIFYING silver thing my mom bought forever. But yeah, I'd sell you the brown wood one of normality.

I return on Domingo =(

Who's living in the Jefferson Street house now? I have stuff stored in your basement that I'll need to pick up on Sunday and wanted to make sure the basement door wouldn't be locked and such.

Also, would you guys happen to know if any of my stuff if water-damaged? It's all compacted in the back, opposite corner from the washer and dryer. I think there's like...a black CD tower...a TV stand...some ugly-ass white shelving units...etc.

Okay, I checked as to basement status, and it appears one small corner room was teh flooded, and you and Molly's stuff is super. Ugly ass shelving should be safe. I think you might have made a small html mistake above, as I can't read that first bit. I don't think it's locked, but call Ben or Annie, who are living there now, and they'll open it for you. Also just use the ever open back door, go down the stairs, and open it as you please.
