When on lj, there is NO NEED to type "The Scottish Play" after your hammy, poorly inserted quotation. Are you ljing from the precenium? Is there a computer lab in the dressing room? Are you anywhere in the theater? No? And if you were, do you speak aloud every word you lj? No? Fucking type Macbeth. It's shorter. And as impressed as I'm not by your Mad Theater Skillz? You should know that's only cute in the goddam vicintiy of a theater. Drama Club: There's a Reason What Happened in High School, Stays in High School.

Side note: Would drama kid purists have a problem with the typing or writing of Macbeth in a theater? And of course, when actually performing the play, do you roll your eyes and just avoid saying it, or only use it to refer to the character specifically, or do you give up and say Mcabeth like no tomorrow?

Hi! Just got the message that you'd like to join f_for_fanfic. One of our requirements is that you have your birthday (at least month and year) to show that you're 18 or over. If you'd please do that, then you're in!
Oh, because I'm a drama dork - saying "the Scottish play" is supposed to be done within a theater, which doesn't fit on LJ unless you bring a laptop to rehearsal. If someone does have their laptop in the theater, I doubt they're the type of actor to really believe in the superstitions. Sounds like whoever's LJ you were reading just wanted to sound elitist.
