Made zuppa toscana http://allrecipes.com/recipe/super-delicious-zuppa-toscana/detail.aspx to get rid of old kale and cream, with this recipe's http://allrecipes.com/recipe/restaurant-style-zuppa-toscana/detail.aspx proportional substitution of kale for spinach. Made the Italian Sausage meat out of bog-standard Iceland one-pound for a pound sausages via this recipe: http://johndlee.hubpages.com/hub/Make_your_own_Italian_sausage_This_recipe_is_so_easy . STILL have a lot of kale to use up! Oy. What does one even do with this much kale. It's like our house was hit by a kalestorm.
Note: I would like to meet the 'six people' this recipe is suppose to serve. My ass. I'll be swimming in this stuff for days. I thought Katy and I could each have two bowls (four servings) and then a bowl each for lunch tomorrow? Hah. Only if by bowl, you mean a crock-pot a piece. I should have known that didn't have time/was too thick and intense to cook down.
