LJ mine, bate your breath, because I have a question:
Is there an inexpensive way to ship items to England from the US? I have looked into the Postal Service's 'if-it-fits' boxes and the 'by-weight' method. Both were very expensive indeed, given that I want to ship about 3.5 pounds of miscellaneous gifts and not, as US Mail seems to believe, 3.5 pounds of the finest Colombian Cocaine cut with African elephant ivory, which would indeed be worth sending at their ludicrous rate.
Do any of you know who or what's cheapest, or do you have an awesomegood alternate suggestion?
Perhaps the thing to do is break the package up in little bits? But even then, it'd still add up to quite a bit.
