I was making the Sad Folk Playlist, only to encounter crisis when I had to find a bright line for 'folkiness.' Wikipedia did not help me. I had to rely on my own best judgement. It was scary. In the process, read that Napoleon, the DiFranco song, might be about Suzanne Vega. Discovered all my Vega was on my old laptop and old desktop, and I have no room on the new one to download any. How do you go a few months before you realize you have misplaced an artist? I suck!

the Sad Folk Playlist (still revising):

Oh, also, going for a certain tone, judging the 'sad' (not really the right word) by that indicator, so not all subjects are necessarily sad, so don't get all up in my face- "Dude, she's shelter from the storm, he wubs her, that's not sad!," 'cause I know.
