Don't ever read The Meadow. Well-written nonfic, sad and beautiful in some parts, but like Jack London for 230 pages with an extra special features reel of nature shots (at least 50 pages of nature description, solid) and bloopers (which are funny, but not enough). The structure is one paragraph to five page fragments. At first this relieved me- always an immediate little goal! But soon the fragmentation itself wore me down.

Also spent an hour revising a short essay of mine, Great Flood, which comes to this omgEPIC! conclussion without any real rites to it, the Sackville Baginses of my nonfiction life.

I'm pretty sure I have to have finished Cats Cradle by Tuesday. But It could be something else with a C. Do I even care anymore? I'll just read a Candy label and say I got confused. (You mean this isn't Candide, there's a difference? You mean I wasn't supposed to be reading Candide either? Zany.)

Hamas sure sounds tasty.
