Molly comitted to RENT tonight. Rock on, and thanks to D-B K for his rent season's greetings. This is all pending on my being able to leave the bed. Well, the couch. Fecking couch. Which I should be able to do after 1) Mad Hot Ballroom 2) Singing in the Rain (I hated it in 6th grade, but now I remember it as being really clever, so maybe I was just being a little cunt?) and 3) the second Bridget Jones movie, which I can offer no excuses for.
Ate at Kobi on Clark in Andersonville last night. Sure the whole 'eating' part of it was conceptually flawed, but I loved the white cow (a real cream soda w/ a shot of Turrino raspberry) and the desert. That neighborhood way pretty. Finished book 4. Just out of curiosity, would its owner rather I dropped it off on my way out of town or returned it to him in IC?
My god though, there's this thai croissant sandwhich place of eel and amazement in little china town? I guess I didn't connect the French occupation with the Thai looking at a croissant and going "...huh." But it's the best-smelling eatery I'm ever been in. Also, trying to get into a thai grocery to get foot long pocky, I was gaysianed. We stood in the same doorway, and I backed clear out in deference. Hair so frosty! Pants like skin but tighter! I beheld glory.
Then, as they stocked the shelves:
"Thai thai thai. Bang zoom to the moon, Alice! Bang zoom to the moon! *laughter* Thai thai thai."
Which is clearly the best conversation ever.
ETA: Or maybe we'll miss it by 18 minuites and I'll have to go tomorrow.
