Friday I pulled a double shift, using the break to get a drop slip filled out, and afterwards went to my workshop and hung out with Sam, Anna, Therese, Christian and Kara. After that I spent a while with Christina, then drove her home and hung out with Danny and Molly. The next day I worked another six hours, and since there were a total of two deliveries I had to wash the outside windows and dust the plastic pagoda on a ladder. Then I made two pumpkin chiffon cakes, having forgotten that chiffon cakes are the most delicate, complicated bitches I have ever made as a pastry-bitch at NewPi. Then I went to Molly J's bday at the Mill, but was tired and bitchy and sort of ducked out. Then I stopped by Paul's and saw people and ducked out, promising to hang out with he and Jenna that summer before she left, maybe audit D'Agata's summer course. Then today I worked another six hours, and am going to make icing for the cake and go to 300. Tomorrow I have another shift, then a reading, then an after-party.

I kind of hate how over-booked my days are. Parties are fun, fine affairs, but I cannot handle too many in a quick span, spaced by too much work, or I start foaming at the mouth.
