So you know how I always said I'd try something that starts p and rhymes with hot once? Did. It was... okay. Not un-fun, but eh. No interest in doing it again, though. I prefer blitzed-drunk by far, and it's nasty to GET high. You have to choke it down, it's trully unpleasant.

Have bought more CDs and books than I should have recently. But it was Women Re-envision Shakespeare, and it was Edna St. Vincent Millay, and it was 4$ Ani Difranco and, just for the hell of it, shakespear's sister and Erasure! And how can I resist Erasure? So, so gay. Together we'll break these chains of love. And write an oddly commercially successful AIDS ballad. Just cause. And Davita's Harp was thirty cents, so I don't really know how you expected me to say no.

Artifacts, which I intro'd Annie to, and my favorite used bookstore, are just too damn much for me. The only truly indulgent purchase? Sybil in hardback for fifteen. But I couldn't NOT, it usually sells for something ridiculous and is hard to find and suchlike- I've been wanting it FOREVER, and it's Dizzy's best, just not his most popular. So yes, am wallowing in material comforts. Mmm, wallow.
