So I got off the plane and Loreena McKennit wasn't here, and no one sang Bonny Portmore. Whatever, so the dumb slut missed my plane.


But where's Bono?

Hostel is beyond amazing. Nicer than nice. Am typing from an ancient barel vault underground equipped with 1€ internet access for 15 min. I've only slept six hours of the last 36, am jetlagged beyond hell, but inconcievably happy. Molly and I were poking around a street confusedly and a nice old man and his wife stopped to direct us with pinpoint accuracy and be incredibly polite. Not just them, but everyone so far has been polite and painless to deal with, and this is comming from me, who social interaction with strangers or any form of buracracy turns into a recluse or a commando who accomplishes her mission and flees back to base camp.

A boy on the bus looked exactly like Alec from Clockwork Orange. I about slept with him over the seat, WITH my 30 plus pound backpack (my only luggage for three months) still on, because that would keep us together for longer and make it less easy to get up.


I'm really worried about Bono.
