I swear I'll stop talking about this show eventually. That only means I'll obsess over Rome again.
You might think the "Doctor who?" jokes within the Doctor Who series would get less funny over time? But that NEVER HAPPENS. I honestly think that over the course of this show it may have made more bad puns than I have hithero made in my life. Granted it's like, from the fifties, but if you know me, that is still such an accomplishment.
I just finished Series One and am not okay. Sure, it was shippy enough at the bitter end (what the fuck was with the wierd yo-yo characterization of Boom Town? Not just as a shipper, but as a viewer, people got funky in that) but he's dead and Ten is all... he has scaled-down Nietszche mutton chops! His accent's different! He's rougly 26% less fun!

Wait, the continent names from Parting of the Ways sound like... are they from 1984? No fucking way!
Who thought "You know what could use more science fiction related specials? Christmas!" Luckily the Doctor Who Christmas Episode is a LOT better than the Star Wars Christmas Special. For one thing, it's not a musical. And it's not animated. And it's not getting called 'Life Day.'
"Help me." Annnnd he's up! Cute. He'd rouse himself from a regeration coma for her. I hope she bought him a really keen present this year. Something tells me this new reincarnation of him will not like jumpers as much. Though he seems to loathe Jackie 'Soup and a Sandwich! Soup and a Ham Sandwich?' Tyler (formerly Jackie 'Are you and my daughter doing anything more than running away from things really fast, you bastard?' Tyler) equally in any form.

On a note of personal preference, I myself am a little in love with Ten... he is Spazzy! He yells "allons" at people with the actual "see" pronounced on the end! He wears red converse sneakers while playing with baskets of tiny kittens! The man has stolen my heart and will not give it back.

Also, am I the only one EXTREMELY SADDENED by the fact that they killed off Lynda with a Y? Seriously, I know that Doctor Who needs its ongoing theme of death and distruction and survival.... but she was adorable.
