Yeah the branding thing confuses me because in part I expect it's just--'this is how semi-pro content creators work on social media, so I'm going to start doing it because I am making content, and I believe that is how making content works!'. But then also there's a genuine, under-considered desire to monetise, in the mix. And as you suggest, it's not impossible to make that level of seriality work for you, but it's not an easy skill-set, or really a great environment even to grow such skills.
