The Alamo Drafthouse here in Austin uses an edited version of the Very Metal PSA as one of their "be quiet or we'll kick your ass out" pre-movie announcements. It fills me with delight every time I see it.

And then there was the Ann Richards PSA. I loved that one, though naturally they retired it when she died. Still cheers me up to see it on YouTube, though.

Um, I had never seen the Ann Richards, and I love it SO MUCH and have shared it with friends and indifferent acquaintances. Thank you, Texas, for the gift of Ann Richards.

Ann Richards and Molly Ivins were two of the greatest proofs that Texas does get things right, the Shrub notwithstanding.
